A Date with Pearl
On August 21, 2026, author Rhonda Welsh welcomed readers into the world of Pearl during a special virtual book launch celebrating her debut novel.
Published through Crimson Kairos LLC, Pearl is a multigenerational story of family secrets, identity, love, and healing. Spanning four generations of women, the novel invites readers to consider the stories we inherit, the truths we uncover, and the freedom that comes from understanding who we are.
The virtual celebration offered an opportunity to meet the proofreader, editor and get a therapist's perspective Readers also learned about the inspiration behind the novel, and discovered the heart of a story that begins with an unopened letter tucked inside a grandmother's Hope Chest.
For Welsh, the launch represented more than the publication of a book. It marked the realization of a lifelong relationship with words and the beginning of a new chapter as a novelist.
