Crimson Kairos LLC is pleased to announce that Chief Founding Artist Rhonda Welsh has been selected to participate in the Troy Public Library Local Author Fair, where she will introduce readers to her debut novel, Pearl.

The event celebrates local literary talent and offers readers an opportunity to meet authors, discover new books, and learn about the creative journeys behind their work.

Welsh will be on hand to discuss Pearl, a multigenerational novel exploring family secrets, identity, love, and healing. Spanning four generations of women, the story moves between the Georgia Sea Islands and Detroit, examining the legacies we inherit and the freedom we discover when we confront the past.

Visitors will have an opportunity to meet Welsh, purchase signed copies of Pearl, and learn more about the novel's inspiration and themes.

Pearl is also available in digital format at crimsonkairos.com/store.

Crimson Kairos welcomes readers, book clubs, and literary enthusiasts to join the celebration of books, storytelling, and community.

Event details: Saturday, December 5, 2026, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Troy Community Center, Rooms 304/305, 3179 Livernois Road, Troy, Michigan. Admission is open to all ages.
